The prime responsibility of our expediting department is simply to ensure that purchased items are delivered by agreed dates or to delivery schedules. They also verify that proposed deliveries are compatible with clients’ requirements and that progress is in accordance with agreed plans.

In addition to expediting the delivery of products, materials or services, this department also liaises with clients, to keep them updated. Items that are on a project’s critical path are vigorously and continuously expedited by telephone, fax or e-mail.

Where required, visits to manufacturers to monitor manufacturing progress are carried out.
